Stove Tile
About this object

Possibly painted by Bartolomäus Dill Riemenschneider (1500–ca. 1550), who lived and worked in Bolzano during the second quarter of the sixteenth century. He painted several altarpieces and equipped numerous Tyrolean castles with wall paintings, but his real specialty was the painting of stove tiles.
