Stonecut Print

Physical description

Small stonecut print on thin paper showing six Inuit people, four facing front and two in profile, who are playing a ball game. The two ball players in profile have each thrown two balls in the air. Forming a semi-circle, the four figures facing us have five balls on the ground in front of them. The background is black and the figures are enclosed in a thin line. Three seals circle the line and four tail fins of large fish protrude from it. The artist’s name has been written twice underneath the image in the right corner.
