Nkisi Figure

Wooden nkisi figure with inlay. The human figure stands with right arm raised, hand in a fist, and left hand on hip. Five fingers are carved in the upraised fist, and four in the left hand. Eyes have glass inserts, and there is a rectangular glass and metal insert in the stomach. The figure stands on an attached block carved of the same piece of wood.
