Painting

Physical description

Painting of a totem pole with a thunderbird sitting on top of a bear. The ears, wings and chest of the thunderbird have ovoid shapes. Its wings are outstretched. The bear holds a person (who does not have facial features except for eyes) in its paws. The bear has large nostrils and its teeth are exposed. Instructions for colours are written in pencil around the pole. There is writing in pencil on the back, possibly denoting the collector’s number.
