Physical description
Jar, made of cream, fine-grained clay with a few dark grits, hard-fired and light-weight. Exterior carefully smoothed. Black, thin, matt paint on a cream slip. Pyriform vase with a flat base and three vertically projecting, triangular shaped handles. Body narrows markedly toward bottom. Globular upper portion is covered with three rows of a black, scale-like pattern. Paint on neck and one band on top surface of rim. A broad band appears on the inside below rim.
