Physical description
Black and brown stone carving of a seated man and woman with child. The man and woman--who carries the child on her back--face each other, with an animal carcass that they are processing between them. In outstretched hands, arms bent at the elbow, the man and woman hold a knife and ulu respectively--both pieces are white-yellow and carved from walrus tusk. Both figures are wearing parkas with the hoods pulled back. The woman has a protruding, red tongue.
