About this object
History of use
Similar cones were found at the Loma Negra site in the Vicus area. Schaffer suggests the Loma Negra cones may have been attached to the ends of sashes and headbands. Several of the cones in this collection have remnants of staples in the apex hole which suggests they may have been attached to or suspended from something metal.
