Iconographic meaning

The representations of a dragon and a phoenix and "double dragon" chasing after a flaming pearl are most commonly used auspicious images in any context in ancient China, not restricted to any classes (Li, Min).

Physical description

Round charm, square hole in centre, inner and outer rims on both sides, four Chinese characters on obverse, design of dragon and phoenix, both very simplified, on reverse.
