History of use
Brass spoons for eating, as well as brass bowls and chopsticks, are commonly used by wealthier people in Korea. This spoon probably dates from the Late Yi Dynasty (ended in 1910).

Physical description
Brass spoon with slightly concave ellipse shaped bowl worn down on one side. Handle is one piece with bowl, flat on back, rounded on front surface, 0.6cm. wide, widening slightly at both ends. Surface has an even dull patina with darker areas on handle.
