Physical description
Byzantine coin of Justinian I, 527-565. Obverse: bust of Justinian I, facing right, with diadem; above his head, there is a cross; to left, inscription says 'DNIVSTINI'; to right, 'ANV'. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, star; to right, crescent facing outwards; above, cross; beneath, 'E'; in exergue, 'CON'.
