Physical description
Byzantine coin of Maurice Tiberius, 582-602. Obverse: bust of Maurice Tiberius, facing front, wearing helmet; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to left, inscription says ‘DNMAVR’; to right, ‘TIbPPAV’. Reverse: large ‘K’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘X’; above, cross; in exergue, ‘TES’.
