Purchased by the donor in Bagan, in 2007.

Painting depicting the Birth of Buddha, on thin white cloth. The painting is bordered by vertical bands of repeating circles and diamonds along each side, a band of flowers and scrollwork across the top, and a band of flowers within orange circles across the bottom. At centre, a large female figure stands with a figure at her side, and a baby(?) on her right hip. The figures are flanked by many smaller figures, deities and musicians, including four rows of figures on the left. Signed by artist, bottom right corner. Also: "Thein Soe. Bagan."
