One of a set originally painted in a spiral drawing book while Mungo Martin was in a Vancouver hospital in 1951.

Profile image of a sea bear with eel-fish. Main image is of a bear with claws on his hand and foot. Whale design expands down the bear's spin. Image has been cut out and glued onto matboard and framed. Framed image has then been mounted on a burlap covered board.
