Calligraphy

The donors bought the work directly from the artist, on the street in the seaside resort of Beidaihe, in 1983.

Calligraphy depicting a series of black ink bird and butterfly images in a column on a piece of off-white rectangular paper. At the side are a series of Chinese characters with a stamped red seal in a column that runs from the middle of the page to the bottom.
