Worn to cover the front of the hair. Used by Pashtun nomads.

This object was collected by Allice Legat while she was doing anthropological field work in Afghanistan.

Physical description
Hair band composed of a strip of black fabric with a series of multicoloured bands at both diagonally cut ends. One end is fringed; the other end and the sides are hemmed. Fringed end has orange, gray, purple and yellow narrow stripes.
