Obverse has circular dragon in centre; 1/2 sen bottom; dot, dai Nippon, dot, Meiji year, dot outside beaded circle. Reverse has half sen (top to bottom) in centre; chrysanthemum top; text top reads 200 pieces equal 1 yen. Text reads right to left; Meiji Year 7.
