Fan

Collected by the paper making library & museum, Tokyo, between 1957 and 1959.

Paper hand fan with a bifurcated bamboo handle, bamboo ribs, a flaring trapezoid-shape, and orange trim. One side of the fan features a stylized image of a man with a vegetable with a black character and a red stamp to one side. A short length of pink cord is attached to the handle.
