Pilgrim flask from the Sanctuary of St. Menas in Egypt. Collected c. 1900 in Egypt, by the seller's father.
Physical description
Clayflask with image of St. Menas on one side and Greek inscription on the reverse, both in relief. Two handles go from shoulder to lip on opposite sides. Flask has two flat faces.
