Hamatsa dancer's neck ring.

Narrative

This knitted type of neck ring was made by Nellie Seaweed as regalia for travel as it was easier to pack than a cedar-bark neck ring (Henry Seaweed, 2012).

Physical description

Red, stuffed, circular knit tube with four matching string fringes attached at equidistant intervals around the outside of ring. Tube is stuffed with tightly packed cloth.
