Net

The nets are doubled over and suspended by loops, one net at each end of a carrying pole. They are used to carry small produce, animals and other goods.

Pair of nets, identical in construction, of coarse red/brown plant fibre. Each net is rectangular, woven in a pattern of rectangles. Each is composed of 66 rectangles. Lengthwise, the strands are composed of two-strand rope and are interwoven through cross-wise strands of four-strand rope. Two rope loops are attached, one end to each corner of the net. The cut ends of the rope are bound with cotton thread.
