Tła’sala horn.

Narrative

The horn was once attributed to Charlie George, but according to Bill Holm it is clearly in the style of Willie Seaweed and must have been made by him. ("Smoky-Top", page 73.)

Physical description

A bottle-shaped, brown wood piece that is square in cross section with a tapering neck. White string is wrapped around the base. Has a killer whale design. Has a black ovoid in ovoid eye surrounded by a blue area, an open red mouth with six white teeth, a black body, blue fins, a red, blue, and black dorsal fin, and a tail that has a face with circular black eyes, red nostrils, and open red mouth with eight white teeth and blue split u's for ears.
