Originally painted as part of a decorative freestanding floor screen
Physical description
Three watercolours framed together; one of a man and a woman just getting up from bed with two servants in attendance; another is of a man and a woman conversing in front of a small hut; the third shows three scholars conversing in a garden under a tree. Predominant colours are black, brown, green, white and red. Works are mounted on gold paper and lined up side-by-side in a black frame separated into three compartments.
