kaayd hllngaay skaayxan (Basket)

Weaving attributed to Isabella Edenshaw, painting attributed to Charles Edenshaw; examined by Bill McLennan in 1997.

Basket made of woven spruce root that flares slightly towards the rim. The basket is painted with a frog design in black and reddish-brown and there is a band of brown dyed spruce root both above and below the painted design.
