daagyaal’uu (Ladle)

Light brown wood ladle with a deep elliptical bowl and a handle that curves from the bottom of the bowl of the ladle upward and outward. Fourteen rectangular pieces of abalone shell are inlaid on the lower front portion of the handle which comes to a plain cylindrical end. Underside of the bowl is carved with a human hand spanning a dotted surface.
