Physical description
Conical woven hat with a flat crown and a wide, circular brim. The hat is woven in several different kinds of twined weaves. Between crown and brim, three-twine rows. Brim: slug trail pattern (zigzag). Three strand, end of pattern, followed by three rows, then ending. Cut-warp braided border. Crown: sides of crown are woven in three-strand twined weaving with top of crown in three-strand bands alternated with plain twined weaving. Inner support: interior woven headband in skip stitch weave. Northwest Coast design painted around the brim, sides and crown in red, green and black.
