Physical description
Round coin with a four-sided hole in the centre, and a rim around the outer edge and the centre hole. The obverse has four characters, and the reverse has two characters. Kangxi tongbao (top-bottom right left) in Chinese characters are on the obverse; lin left in Manchu, lin right in Chinese (mintmark) are on the reverse. Rims are engraved ?; flecks of brass/gold applied to the surfaces; centre hole is not square; rim is bent; fields are irregular.
