Under Skirt

Purchased in early July 1978 from a store located in the Indian market in Huaras. This store is located in from of the house owned by Juliane Velladores Sologor, whose family lives here and sews and sells clothing in front of their home.

Green wool skirt with a red band along the bottom edge embroidered in bands of white coils and lines. At the top is an unbleached cotton band with ties at the back; fabric gathers along the top seam.
