tsusgm hapsg̱awlgm g̱an (Spoon)

This example is very similar in style to 2713/28 and although both spoons are small and carved rather crudely, they are likely the work of Samuel Elwitt. The wood, pigment, and unusual shape of the bowl is mirrored by other spoons in by Elwitt in MOA’s collection. The squarish formline eye on the handle is a common feature on other pieces of Elwitt’s work.
