Embroidered Cloth

Made by refugees from El Salvador while living in the Mesa Grande or La Virtude refugee camps in Honduras.

Small, off-white embroidered cloth with pink scalloped crocheted edge. Scene of garden plants and women washing clothes and preparing food in an open-sided shelter. Writing embroidered in lower area in Spanish: "Recuerdos de refugiados Salvadoreaos en Colomoncagur"(sp?)
