Shirt

Physical description

Long sleeved shirt constructed of thin panels of bark. The tunic has a ā€˜vā€™ neck at both front and back, with small slits up the side hems at bottom on each side. There is no front opening. The front and back pieces are separate panels sewn together at sides with thick plant fibre thread. Each arm is a single folded panel with edges sewn together at the bottom, then sewn to the shirt body at the shoulders. The bark has an embedded criss-cross pattern throughout, possibly naturally occurring.
