Octopus and Seagull Paddle

Physical description
Paddle carved from a single piece of wood. Natural yellow cedar background carved and painted on one side. The blade has a large white seagull and red bird-like octopus. The shaft has a red crab and salmon(?) design. The throat is wrapped by a finely plaited black fibre. A single horizontal grey band extend across the top of the blade, and again at the top of the shaft. The barrel-shaped grip is a dark grey. The artist has carved "J Marston 2012" at the top of the shaft, on the reverse.
