Sun, Salmon, Frogs and Ravens

Series 46/50. From Box Set I, a portfolio of nine original limited edition serigraphs by Coast Salish artists. Commissioned by the Salish Weave Collection between 2004 and 2008.

Silkscreen print on white paper. The central, round, yellow artwork shows the sun, its face made up of the white interconnected features of the creatures the work is named for. Two salmon faces emerge from the sides in profile, a frog’s eyes and back appear at bottom, a raven’s eyes and beak at top. The image is surrounded by a thin dark red border.
