Physical description
Figure jar. Vessel is slightly wider than deep, rounded with a flat bottom and two dark grey humps on the shoulder to either side of the neck. Neck is thin and tall, with a protruding and painted human face in dark red at front. Above is a headdress with a repeating bird’s head motif. Front and back of body hold raised details of snakes and bird-like creatures, along with painted decorations of chevrons, animal heads and plant life. The bottom third of vessel is painted dark brown, and otherwise undecorated.
