Hat

Black velvet hat with a rounded front and a raised back portion, giving the impression of a dome-shaped hat missing the upper front quarter. Hat is covered in circular, metal-trimmed pieces of mirror worked into an overall embroidered floral pattern. A bark-like band of thick paper painted brown sits across the top of the hat covering the joint between the front and the back halves. Long cord ties are attached at either side.
