Worn by women; to fasten shawls (mantas) and carrying cloths around the body.

Narrative

Purchased in June 1978 in Cuzco, from a seller on the Plaza des Armes.

Physical description

Pin in the shape of a spoon. Scoop part has a small hole near the handle; handle is long and thin with a pointy end; small notches in edges of handle near scoop.
