Pants of this style with short legs and wide hips are distinctive of the Pisac area and the Urubamba Valley. They have wide waist bands with belt loops to accommodate the wide belts worn in pairs or threes.

Physical description

Short, black wool pants with two grey buttons down the front. The legs slightly flare out through the middle then taper in at the ends; the outer edge is longer then the inside. There are three belt loops; two on the front, one on the back. The inside waist and leg cuff seams are edged with a strip of natural coloured wool.
