Skirt

Purchased at Chaska store in Cuzco.

Worn by women and girls. There are ties on either side in order to accommodate expansion during pregnancy or growing.

Black wool skirt, gathered at the waist with side ties. The ties are woven with a red and white triangular design bordered by green, yellow and pink stripes. The bottom of the skirt is detailed with green, orange and pink floral embroidered design. The band along the bottom edge has pink, orange, blue, green, purple, white and yellow zigzags on a pink ground.
