Purchased in June 1978 at the Cuzco Indian market from Teresa Victorio who is also the maker. She made it on an old Singer treadle machine.

Physical description

Red wool skirt with two decorative folds horizontally through the middle. Along the scalloped bottom edge is a navy embroidered floral design. At the top is a pink cotton band with ties at the side; fabric gathers along the top seam. The red fabric has a yellow stamp along the bottom edge.
