Physical description
Byzantine coin of Maurice Tiberius, 582-602. Obverse: bust of Maurice Tiberius, facing left, with diadem; to left, inscription says ‘DNMA’; to right, ‘RICI’; beneath, ‘IND[S]’. Reverse: large cross potent (a heraldic cross with crossbars on all four ends) above two steps; to left, ‘N’; to right, ‘M’; beneath, ‘X’.
