The Buddha Shakyamuni is depicted at different stages in his life with the respective Mudrās: Dhyāna (meditation), Bhūmisparśa (touching earth as his witness when he reached enlightenment), and Dharmacakra (teaching the Buddhist doctrine), and his passing (Paranirvāṇa Stūpa).
