History of use
Token, value 1 fuang or 1/8 tical (baht). First used in gambling parlours, later used by the general population for small change.
Physical description
Round; 3 characters vertically on design; 6 characters in 2 vertical rows on other side. Obverse has, fang chien pai, in Chinese characters, meaning, Fuang precious coin, on design. Reverse has 6 Chinese characters in 2 vertical rows, probably giving the parlour issuing the piece.
