Hellenistic?; neither the clay nor the form and decoration are typical of Cypriot work.

Physical description

Small jug made of light brown, fine grained dense clay with occasional small white limestone particles and flakes of gold mica. Thick grey/white slip covers the entire surface. The design is in thin, matte brown paint. Flat raised base, carination where base joins globular body; short narrow neck with a trefoil spout; large flat strap handle from rim to shoulder and two secondary horizontal handles on shoulder. Body and neck bear group of two concentric half circles with short pendant strokes. On handles double zigzag line framing dots.
