History of use

Worn as a vest under a poncho and over a shirt. High collar has its roots in the Castillian style. Typical of the regional Pisac costume.

Physical description

Wool sleeveless jacket or vest with natural coloured back and a red appliqué front and collar. The inner edges are lined with a pink and grey triangular pattern band with white embroidered detailing, followed by stripes of green, yellow and pink. The pockets and collar have grey, green, yellow and white decoration.
