Worn under a jacket. The blouse has wide cuffs which are trimmed with lace and show below the edge of the jacket. The blouse is an important, decorative part of the costume.

Purchaed from Chaska store in Cuzco. Style typical of the Pisac region.

Physical description

White blouse with embroidery and lace. The blouse has a round neckline and a side shoulder opening. There is a u-shaped panel on the front centre. The panel has wide pink lace with pink and blue ribbon in the centre. Around the panel is wide white lace with paired pieces of fabric on the inner edge. The long sleeves are cuffed with pink and white lace. The inside is unlined.
