Physical description
Byzantine coin of Maurice Tiberius, 582-602. Obverse: bust of Maurice Tiberius, facing front, wearing crown with cross; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to right, he holds a shield; to left, inscription says ‘ON’; to right, ‘PPA’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, ‘ANNO’ in a vertical position; to right, ‘ϚII’; above, cross; beneath, officina letter is illegible; in exergue, ‘KYZ’.
