Physical description
Byzantine coin of Phocas, 602-610. Obverse: bust of Phocas, facing front, with crown and consular robes; above his head, there is a cross; to left, he holds a [mappa]; to right, he holds a [cross]; to left, inscription says ‘ONFOCAS’; to right, ‘PERPAVC’. Reverse: large ‘XX’; above, cross; in exergue, ‘KYZ’.
