Ground weft: spin unidentifiable,; two ply s twist; silk per microscope (10 x 100) and (40 x 100). Supplementary weft: spin and ply unidentified; metallic wrapped cotton per microscope (10 x 100) slick filed.
Physical description
Rectangle silk textile with repeating horizontal rows of woven, metallic patterned ovals, each with two heart-shaped leaves; one leaf has diaper pattern, one has short broken lines, background of narrow vertical lines. Alternate rows of ovals face in opposite directions. Top and bottom are unfinished, sides are selvage.
