Iconographic meaning
Gothic double arch on plain pillars within a double frame that forms a niche. Many of these would have formed the walls of a stove. They resemble the niches found in churches intended to hold biblical figures.

Physical description
Oblong white earthenware stove tile with flat base, flared sides and square rim. On the front is a double arch framing an alcove painted in green, yellow, blue and brown vertical stripes. There is openwork above and below the arch. The arch is framed by green leaves spiraling down brown pillars. Unglazed exterior.
