History of use
Traditionally, baskets were used for a variety of domestic purposes, but starting in the mid-19th century, many basketry goods were made as sale items to provide a source of cash income.

Physical description
Rectangular, coiled basket with a foot and a twined loop work rim. Sides and bottom are constructed over slat foundation with split stitches. Foot and row below loop work are beaded in red-brown. Imbricated with geometric designs in black, red-brown, and light yellow-brown with inward pointing arrow-like shapes at either long side and an x formation at either short end.
