Flower Basket

Identified as a flower basket by basket makers from Mount Currie.

Mount Currie basket makers said that this basket had once belonged to the Walkin family.

Small round basket with a coiled slat foundation. Rim has two loops and braided cedar bark as decoration. Red cherry bark beading in three horizontal bands decorate the body of the basket with broken up horizontal beading around the foot of the basket.
